Lovely detail. I've got two Panthers in the stash but they both need added zimm as they are the old Tamiya kit, I love a Tamiya

Not all Panthers had Zimmerit, the Ausf. A had it most definitely but not all the D and G versions 100% correct, I still feel like walking on thin ice with this Panther D, which is a early version with a D2 turret. Maybe interesting to you Ian?

Thanks Ian chap.
Appearantly the Panther Ausf. D production stopped before Zimmerit application in factory plants was introduced. However some D's were seen with different types of Zimmerit coats applied in field workshops.
😅 Wow, there's my way out of this Zim issue me thinks.

The version\date zim and fittings issue sounds like a nightmare but at least you know your safe at MHO and with the research your putting in everywhere else too.
Great work AG

Boots, thanks for jumping by fella! Tommy, thank you, it's just a tad of extra detail added to the most visible panels. Steve, thanks, yes it's a nightmare and it's the nightmare which is triggering me to build more Panthers in the future.
MHO is the best possible haven, but please do not hesitate to rub my face in the mistakes I make and will make.

Does the time frame fit for the introduction of zimm crossing over with the we no longer have any built turrets left?

I don't know Jabbly, maybe an expert on Panthers here can respond.

Zimmerit was added to the sides as I probably won't put the Schützen in place. A simple tool I made came in handy to shape the Magic Sculpt.

The Magic Sculpt Zimmerit needs a cleanup once it's hardened, maybe a little damage...
Thanks chaps!
