Ian, your Panther is an Ausf D. Yours has a toolbox attached to the right side of the upper hull, mine hasn't. None of them D's had factory Zimmerit coating in the Kursk battle, only maybe a handful had it added in the field.
Great job Ian. Camo looks superb.

Someone said they had tool boxes instead of rack so I knocked up a little tool box. Hope it’s right

It's a Panther, you can't go wrong as this can be a field adding.

Banged on Zimmerit to the mud flaps. I tried to not make it look perfect as Zimmerit looks at its best when it's not too cleanly applied (field). I also broke it away here and there to give it a more battled caracter. ONLY FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES. Looking better than a crispy cookie!

Well played with the mud flap zim Guy, it certainly matches the molded stuff

Thank you my friend, apart from the addition of the grilles on the rear deck the build is practically done. Paint follows shortly.

Well, I think zimmerit was never a tidy affair, not even when factory applied. Lovely homemade mud cover zimmerit, looking good. I must say I did a Panther once covering it with homemade zimmerit and I really enjoyed that, how about you Guyke?

Dragon tow cables suck anyway, they are way too crude. So good show. Now you can make your own
