The mesh detail looks very good, Guy. I like what you’ve done with it.

MHO approved, I'm glad you like it chaps. Next job is to add just that little extra to the rear deck. I still have a leftover tarp from an aftermarket stowage set for a Dodge truck. Since a tarp is nothing but a tarp I glued it on. It will be partially resculpted for a flawless fit on the shape of the deck. It will need a tied down strap also. I'll add a Stahlhelm probably. Pretty happy with it, what do you think friends?

A tad more Tommy, promised. Joe, thanks! Thanks my fellow NMBS friend. The turret was given a gloss white coat as I want a vivid looking dark yellow later on. The Zimmerit nooks and crannies tend to darken the surface fast with the application of washes. It's not a whitewash!

That will be very interesting to see happen . Remember that chipped off zimmerit left a white patch behind. This is caused by the chemical reaction of the zimm on metal. Naturally it didn't stay white, it would quickly get dirty and darken. Here's a Panther Mantlet at the German Panzer Museum:

Now if that isn't a great help with the red pic, thanks a lot my neighbour.

I always thought the white/grey colour left behind was the zimmerit itself (which was like a grey concrete-ish stuff) Great photo of that mantlet. Munster is still on my bucket list. Good to see some primer yeey

The tarp now fits to the rear deck surface, just a bit of Magic Sculpt was added and shaped in the same fashion as the resin part.
