The tarp was completed with a knotted strap around the grabhandle. A helmet was added next to the tarp, to make it colourful enough to make it look interesting and I decided to add the side skirts with the same goal. The Panther won't be given a camo pattern, I'll stick to dark yellow, kind of colour modulation style, again to make it worth looking at. If I can find interesting Panzergrenadier figures...we'll see. Thank you gents !

Guy the Dunkelgelb colour scheme will be most excellent indeed . You can do a lot, with modulation on this colour.

I'm glad you have the same opinion on the colour my neighbour. I'm not too keen on airbrushing a camo onto a Zimmerit coat, as the sprayed on paint tends to start bleeding in its textures. This will be a little more straightforward however I'll give it my best.

LOL Guy, I wouldn't say it's more straight forward, but I will say it'll be extremely cool

strange that you mentioned that bleeding of the colours into the zimmerit when modulating. I never experienced that really. I'm sure you'll do fine. Now pull out that bottle of DY

Now pull out that bottle of DY Hey brotha W, not when modulating, it happened during spraying the camouflage colours. Maybe I was usi g to much air pressure, or my paint was too much thinned.

Steve, the info on Panther types is a minefield, a lot has been written on the subject and still more info keeps surfacing. Not far from my doorstep in Breda, Holland, is a Panther D displayed as a monument (gift from the Polish liberators). The tank however is completely mutulated imo as things were removed, closed with welded on panels etc. This being a D version it belongs in a museum.

Guess what it is? It's wheels on sticks! The wheels were airbrushed gloss black, idlers and drive sprockets gloss white...bwaaah it's a start.
