For the first time in many weeks I spent some time at the bench today.. woo hoo! The Mig-17 is all together and primed, no pics of that sorry. I was so wrapped up in the build and its now drying. I did remember to take a couple of pics of the JF-17 office though, mainly due to the fact that you can still see it when I stopped Found a few flaws in the joints so filled them with acrylic putty and cleaned up with water. The kit TFT screens are printed white and with systems on which is one of my pet hates and to cap it off the decals didn't fit or even stick ! So I painted them gloss green.
More soon!

Moving along, base coat on ready for first camo colour. I've left off most of the knocky off bits of which this has more than it's fair share !

Wow, I finally found this and got caught up! Way to go; you are about as far along as I am. Mine has been shown in my Maddog Manufacturing thread, but maybe I should start a new thread for it for this dual build?

So after what seems like the longest 6 weeks of my life.. Stomach bug, Covid then 2 days after I stopped coughing.. the mother of all colds.. I picked this up for it's first coat of paint and........ Snapped the rear stabiliser of it.. feck! Though I might as well remove the other one too and added brass rod instead of the weedy little plastic pip that Trumpy give us. All back together now and the AB is calling
