Nice to see a bit of real modelling on a good olde kit Paul, great stuff Pick up a copy of The Encyclopaedia of Military Modelling published in the early 80βs to see how much things have changed. Page after page dedicated to scratch building and conversions. Weathering, gets to a couple of pages.

I think I've got that somewhere too.
Weathering has changed a lot as you say, I've also got Tony Greenland's book on building and finishing Panzers. Pages of modelling and painting with a touch of weathering. His builds look almost factory fresh now.

My first book was Tony Greenlands.......still has pride of place in the minimal book collection

Brilliant work Paul! Nice additions that will make this old kit pop! I didn't look away from those sprue pics though; it just reinforced my gladness that I only build in 1/72 scale!
Keep it coming Paul!

Looking so perfect Paul, I remember I scratched an antenna mount for my Comet tank, it drove me ballistic.π
