Tommy, Si, Ian, thank you kindly chaps . Those masks are very good indeed. They would be easier to use if you leave the sticky stuff off the model till later, things like the headlights, side skirt holders, gun clamps. Anyway, I posted at the start of this thread a set of TRex Panzer III/IV tracks. Well my set is a bloody nightmare . There was 22 broken links in the box, the broken parts had snapped in the same place, also the snapped parts were not there. So this must have happened before packaging. Then 90% of the good links needed drilling to get the pins in place, but even after that the pins didn't sit all the way in. Some of the links even broke whilst mounting the pins. So I decided to get some more 3D printed tacks, this time Panzer Art. These worked excellently. The pins are a little slack so I glued them in place, but they still remain workable. Also, there was only 3 links which un-usable, one wasn't fully printed, the two were deformed. It looks like these 3D printed tracks are a bit of a lottery. Here are two videos from Youtube which show a comparison to that which on the market at the moment. The problems the bloke has with Panzer Art, are the same I had with TRex. So, here we my Panzer Art tracks, kit no.TR35-016, in place without any issues. It me two and half hours to make both sides, so they are faster than Friul by the half.

Yes Si, the interneters are all saying that TRex are bees knees, but I'm afraid I can't agree. Well not in the smaller tracks anyway, possibly the larger ones are far better, Tiger, T55, Panther.... Thank you also mushty

Shame about your track issues Paul. You've got a superb result but it's an expensive way to get there!
The T-Rex Tiger tracks you found for me do have some broken links but they go together very well.

The tracks look great, Paul, and that's too bad about the first set of tracks. Great save with the second set, however!

Cheers chaps . Time to get this movin' again . Yesterday I added a shed load Vallejo "Thick Mud", this is a water based paste with all sorts of crud already mixed in . Being water based it very easy to work with, just use water to wash off what isn't needed. Perfect for me, no more stinky chemicals in the cave . Anyway I just slapped on some Mig Dark wash and spread that around a tad, next will be the wheels and then the tracks can go on . Nearly forgot, the stickers are from Archer Dry Transfers, unfortunately they are showing their age now and getting tricky to apply .
