Chaps, I have 3 builds in different stages at the moment. Two are in the paint/weathering stage and drying off. The other I'm stuck with in the build stage because I haven't got the parts I need. So, instead of looking at an empty bench I thought I'd crack open a 1/72 kit. After all I need to practice my braille capabilities for when I open the Revell U-Boot . So here we have the Italeri 1/72 T55. I have used the tacks from Gas Hans which are for the Trumpeter kit, but with a tweak of the sprockets they fit the Italeri kit fine. I also added an RB Model barrel, yes it has rifling ,and some fuel tank and head light connections also made from 0.3mm wire. To go along with those additions, the mantlet needed a canvas cover, so I added that with tissue paper. The ribbing under the canvas cover was added with 0.3mm copper wire. I think I need to scratch the rear fuel tanks, the kit parts are a tad iffy, we'll see about that later .

Excellent, Paul, and tiny parts indeed. Great to see another T-series tank in the threads.

Sorry for the delay here chaps, thanks for the kind words also. Anyway this is back on the bench now. I have had to go with the kit fuel barrels, so these got a little reworking . The seems were sanded back and the ends have been replaced with white card. Also the filler caps have been added and along with those, the retaining straps too. I also added some dents to them, I reckon they wouldn't have stayed nice and round after a few weeks in the field . These two parts were a real pain in the seating area to fit to the tank , many colourful words later I had them in place . I think I'll slap some primer on tomorrow, so I can see what still needs attention
