Robbo said he`d like to see WIP pics on my Lambretta restoration so being as there isn`t a catergory for this i thought i`d stick it in here....
Story so far...
Fuel tank removed, tool box removed, air filter box and seat................plus 60 years of Italian road dirt
All these parts will be stripped back and necessary parts replaced and sprayed...
The aim is to take this back to just a frame ready for powder coating...

I`m fortunate to have an Industrial estate 2 mins from my house with a company that powder coats and another one that does chrome plating............i`ll see what price they qoute me for the frame but i won`t be able to do everything in one hit because of the finance side, i`ll just take parts to them as and when i strip and clean them up...........thinkingof buying a small MIG welder in case frame repairs are needed, from what i can see most is just surface rust Bill That SX you had would be worth a lot of money now

Yes I could work on them again; nice and simple, no electronics! My 90ss Vespa cost £187 new in 1967 and I part exd it for less than half that in 69 to buy a 2nd hand Triumph 5TA. If only I had that Vespa now!!😳

Wonder how much an ss90 is worth now.....i`m just as bad, i had a 1963 Low-line Ford consul with bench seats, column change and those horrid vacumm windscreen wipers that the faster you went the slower the wipers were and i let that go for a £100............hind-sight is a wonderful thing
As for simplicity all the stuff i took off this evening took me an hour and a half...........mind you i have been WD40ing them for a couple of evenings so that helped
