Well.........knew i wasn`t going to get off scot free, gotta undergo inspection from DVLA .............thankfully there is a bloke from the inspection Co that is down my neck of the woods on Monday so i`ve booked him in..........fingers crossed!!

The inspection is free...................the build is probably gonna set me back a few quid thats for sure, not sure exactually how much yet tho!

Will you do all your own spray painting? I know the fella who owns Medway Scooters, Alan Gomme, he is a very good paint sprayer

I`m thinking about doing it myself Robbo.............most of the motor rattlecan range are pretty dam good and with a good 2 pack gloss over the top it should be ok

Nothing wrong with a quality rattle can paint job. It's all in the prep. The bike restoration fellas on Bangers & Cash use Halfords tins all the time.

Do not forget there's a second rule : it's all in the layers! Therefor I suggest you purchase 1 kilo of rust pigments to begin with. Maybe 5 cans of hairspray...😂
