Pretty much Jeff.....disintigtration!! Thankfully i have found a contact on the internet that can cut and replace all the original keys, i still have the original lock which fits perfect but had no keys for it, turns out they are coded and by sending the guy the code he can match and re-cut some for me.......he has contacted me and i`ve sent payment so i`m hoping he`ll do them for me shortly.

Awesome. Glad you got it figured. The code on the cylinder represents the length and position of the tumblers inside. If you got the code you can make the key. I used to do them all the time, whenever I replaced a door or any other keyed part.

Well a good day for getting some paintwork done..............managed to finish up the front hub so that can now have the new front wheel and tyre fixed.......also finished the spray work on the toolbox but i need to fit the rubber surround, at the mo i need to let the gloss work dry hard for 24hrs before i can do anything, hopefully get some pics up tomorrow when things are dry

Well things dried quicker than expected........ Front end before... And now..... The front hub and toolbox were stipped to bare metal and primed in etching primer followed by normal primer, 3 coats of Black, 3 coats of Silver metalflake and 4 gloss coats.........unfortunately the shine from my garage light hides it a bit This is how it looks now with the new shocks, new tyre fitted...........the wheel was origionally the iron 2 piece split rims with inner tube so i bought a one piece billet alu to allow me to run with tubeless tyres... Not sure whats next............probably concentrate on the headset internal wiring and cables

OH yeah, very nice indeed... and I had forgotten about the brandnew spikey tyres... and then doing corners to see how far you can get them removed...
