John, Boots, cheers chaps . Mud can still be an option...... but I have started on my plan . I'm adding some bits that Dragon didn't even think of . There was angled iron added to the sides of the transmission housing, this is now in place and the bolts will come soon. As for the front fender parts, well.. still thinking about that bit

Great fix on that, Paul. I think the Ic Hybrid had that same issue with that bow piece. I really struggled with that on that version, too.

I like the extra detailing you did. I'd leave the front fenders off Paul, most pics show Ff's without them, or with just one left.

That's a nasty bit of engineering but sorted with a great fix. I'm sure you will be all over any further surprises Dragon has up it's sleeve too.

Cheers muchly chaps , didn't get anything done yesterday was busy with other stuff . Tommy, I do believe that it was 2x2mm 90° angled profile . Guy, that is always an option .

Sorry for the late answer Jeff. Thank you and yes it is a hand full of.... to say the least . Okay, today I got back at this monster and I think I have the front arse end sorted . I found a picture in a book of mine, of a Firefly without the front fenders. It also has a platform with a stowage box in place. The famous Firefly stowage box has been mounted on the rear of the vehicle in my case, but the platform at the front has been added. This will be filled with boxes, jerry cans, bags, and other things, to cover up the ugly front of Dragons bad fitting parts. I have a load of stuff from Asuka, Plus Model, Panzer Art, Tamiya, Red Zebra and more to do this job. Here is the way I shall be going .

I like them without front fenders, makes them look nasty , stowage idea is a good one as well

Boots you're right there about the fenders, it does make it look meaner . As for the stowage layout well, that will no doubt change a tad, to me it looks too cliche like at the mo
