Wow, that sure does look fantastic!! And great idea for those bits, might be an idea to put them into a beer cap that has a "plastic" lining and paint them while they are in there?

Just look at that detail! The kit is a fighter but well worth the effort I reckon B) The missing deliveries really annoy me, it's the sellers liability to get the items to you and they can't devolve that liability to the carrier. The carrier is their contractor not yours, so if the parcel is lost or damaged before it's delivered then it's the sellers loss not yours. The seller has to abide by their original contract with you and deliver within the advertised timescales or offer replacement or refund. They can't insist you wait 8 weeks, they just hope you're either a nice person or don't know your rights. That's why I always use PayPal for mail order, if the seller can't provide a proof of delivery with the terms of the original order then PayPal will refund you. Rant over....

Cheers muchly chaps . Might even play around with the tracks later . SteveM, I forgot to mention that the dilemma is over. The package was so badly damaged that neither I or MBK will see it again. MBK gave me cash back on Tuesday, after they were informed. The 8 week waiting period, is just DHL being a$$holes and them basically saying "we're in charge, we do what we want and it can take that long if necessary, so F off" tommygunn, not that long actually. I think it was between 25 and 35 minutes.

Cheers muchly Boots ole chap . I don't know how this is going to end.... at the moment it's closer to the Brick of Doom than anything else. I ordered some some AM tracks for it last week, guess what, the package was damaged during transport and needs repacking. Modellbau König have jumped in and are trying to find out what has happened to them, or where the package now is. But they have been told by DHL, that the investigation can take up to 8 weeks. MBK can't give me a replacement until they know what's going on. Seams to me like there is a curse on this one . I might even take this one to church tomorrow and get it exorcised Yup... that's a cursed kit.

Cheers muchly for the encouragement John , and I certainly ain't giving up now . This morning, I decided to fill all the tool attachment points, as these were a tad larger than they should be . In the afternoon I cut the porcupine bits off and sanded everything smooth. The fire extinguishers had brackets added, which are missing in the kit. The gun crutch has been added, as have the air intakes and fuel caps. The fuel caps are from Academy and Tamiya as these have handles on them. On the turret I added the missing footman loops, looking at them I may remake these as appear a little to high. Also on the turret, I added a disputable search light. Some Fireflies had them, others didn't and others, had a British style light like on the Cromwell. Oh yes, I drilled out those stupid missing holes for the skirt attachment bolts also .

Could have been a nice porcupine variant 😁 LOL Bert . But in all seriousness, everytime I do this, I do think of making an M4 from the Pacific campaign with spikes around the hatches

Thank you kindly Ian . Todays workings were adding the lifting eyes, rear and front lights, hatch handles, smoke generator and the stupid photo-etch light guards . Next up will be some texturing on the turret and hull sides, then the stowage, then primer
