Jeff, I'm not sure what you mean. Them lifeboats were separately glued in after paintwork. Thanks buddy. Thank you Boots. Thanks Pete, it looks like a bath toy but that won't stop me ! Iv'e just pinwashed the remaining parts and the entire ship was subtly drybrushed with pure white for an optimal effect. I've also added streakings. The edges of the platform were given a lighter shade to make the ship look even bigger !

I'm not yet arrived at creating a small part of the Pacific Ocean, however this is the base production chapter. A piece of balsa foam with thickness of 5mm was cut 14cmx22cm. I then cut out the profile of the ship and glued it onto an mdf panel of the same size. A heavy sheet of paper was then glued on with wood glue. I rolled a bottle (empty ) over it to stretch it nicely over the balsa foam. After a decaf and 20 minutes of Netflixing the ship's profile was cut out of the paper. I brushed on wood glue onto the entire surface to make it stronger, I then dabbed with a moist sponge. The edges were finished with sheet styrene. Next is to spray on a couple of gloss black layers of Motip spraycan paint for cars. Then my friends...the fun can begin as I purchased AK Water Gel Pacific Blue, Water Gel Transparent, and Water Foam, all new products on my bench.
