No blue yet friends, I've sprayed on gloss black, not the Motip black from the spraycan btw, I used Tamiya X1. Tomorrow the first blues and greenish blues will be airbrushed on as a base for the transparent AK gels, I'm so looking forward to that part of the project...

7Cool vid Paul ! The 80's music rules. Thanks friends. Water...AK Acrylic Gel is the solution, or 'a' solution as there are many products available on the modeling market. I airbrushed on three different shades of vivid blue and let it dry, I used Tamiya's. I then dabbed on the AK Pacific Water Gel with a soft brush. Here's the result so far.

Thanks a lot my friends. Yesterday i've created foamy waves around the ship with thinned wood glue soaked tissue.  More foamy waves coming up soon.
