Great work on the bags and the weathering Paul.

Sorry for the late reply fellas , been a tad busy with work crap. I thank thee all kindly for the great praise you have giveth . John for the stains I used Mig fresh engine oil, a tad of track wash and some pigments dusted over . Right now down to the meat, I reckon I am done with the vehicle . The packs are on, the final dusting is on and that is (I hope) that . I have started (quote on Snipersmudge) a simple base, but don't hold your breath . More as soon as possible chaps

This project is really looking good and the vehicle will really look sharp on that base. Still trying to fathom that gun mounted on that chassis. Wonder how that worked firing with the turret turned to the side? Regards, Ian

Apologies for keeping you all waiting and also many thanks dear Sirs . John I used Mig Engine oil and added some Tammy smoke after it had dried . After getting back from Rhodes yesterday I got straight to work on the base , I started the ground dirt colour with Tamiya XF57 Buff old stock. Then, what I thought was Tamiya deck tan, but turned out to be Buff from a new stock , to get the colour changing going (Pics will follow to show you the difference). After this had dried, I got some real Deck tan to do the dusting and Revell White (enamel) to dry-brush the rocks. I added a weed I found at the train station to simulate a small bush, and a load of Green Stuff light grass tufts for the vegetation. After all this was fixed I used a load of VMS pigments to get the same dusty look as on the vehicle. Anyway here's the finished product yaz, at least I think I am done for now . It looks like Tamiya are changing the tones of the whole colour range, along with these I have discovered that Nato Black, Nato Green, Field Grey and Khaki Drab are also new tones . Okay now on with the finished build , I hope thee all likes this. Thanks for watching fellas, as always ACACW .

Pete I can't understand why Tamiya are doing this, bloody annoying as it can ruin a paint job if you haven't got enough of the old stock colour . As for the weed, well I'll check on Monday, but I think they will have changed. We'll have wait till next September if so . Cheers for the praise also mucker .

Another beautiful project, Paul. Still trying to figure out how the Russian design team was gonna pull off the physics in that one!
Best wishes,
