Hi chaps Apologies for not being around too much, I'm trying to rectify this believe me! And one way of doing this is to try and reduce my stash of 1/72 kits, and the best way to do that is to build em! So to kick off I have a few straight forward ish builds, the Dragon 251 series of kits, pretty much a scaled down version of their big brothers! So I have these! there are actually four kits there as one box is doubled up! To begin I will start with the 251/7 as who can resist engineering vehicles! I will build this one as a platoon commanders vehicle fitted with the panzerbusche! Good break down of parts for a 72nd scale kit! More later! I'm going in!

Glad to have you all along chaps! These 251's are gawjus! lovely little kits packed with parts, options and details............ and then they started cutting corners, reducing parts count and generally patronising small scale modellers, the demand for these golden age kits should show the manufacturers which way they SHOULD be directing the new products!!! Sorry Gripe over! Just trying to get some decent piks!

So um yes! sorry for the delay, The battery on the camera ran out, and then so did the weekend! lost track of time since then The build starts with the usual, wheels lots of wheels! No Esci here as the wheels are adjoined to assist with assembly, no patronising there at all but left them free to assist with ease of painting. Work quickly shifts inside, which is where all the parts are! The floor with seating, assembles quickly and is very clean. And this is where my battery died, so carried on having fun with the construction! So altogether that was a good afternoons build, nothing strenuous and very enjoyable, plus a large pile of spares for my other 251's So whats next? 251/2c, 251/7c with panzerbusch (this could be built as a straight 251/1) or 251/1 with stuka zu fuss Think I will paint em all together to justify getting the AB out

Love the detail in there. I wouldn’t mind the joined wheels so much if I was going to weather it up but it’d be a right pain to paint if you wanted a newer looking vehicle where you need to paint the tyres
