Hi folks I have decided to get an oldie but goldie going ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) . Here's the Tamiya Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. L from 1995, this is a darned good version of a Wehrmacht backbone vehicle. I shall build it more or less from the box, only with the addition of a metal barrel here and there and some stowage, and possibly some magic tracks if I can find them ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) . Here's the first hours work for yaz ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . ![](https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1851/44651989042_f5a210ce1b_c.jpg) ![](https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1882/44700091721_b2541d4dfa_c.jpg) More soon chaps ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Good choice, Paul. That is a very nice kit, indeed. I will stay tuned for more of your model mastery.
Best wishes,

Ian, many thanks indeed sir ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . But I reckon there are bigger and better masters here than I ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) . Take yourself for one ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) . Pete, cheers ole chap ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . Vlad, thank you kindly also mucker ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . And don't worry this will come to an abrupt stop on Wednesday, I have a party planned in Rhodes from Thursday for a week ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) . Here's a tough decision for me to make ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) , Tamiya kit part or Schattons just slightly more detailed hull MG ![(:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/ninja.png) . ![](https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1845/43999386014_2a9b0be4ae_z.jpg) Off for a pint to think about it ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) .

Decision made ![](https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1848/44668930232_554a5c9071_c.jpg) I also didn't have the fancy Tamiya PE set for the air intakes, so I used some eduard mesh and white strip instead ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ![](https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1851/42908600920_0863a4d914_c.jpg) Things seem to flow smoooover with a pint ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png)

Pete the RB barrel is straight drop in, if you can cut straight ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) . The pint helped with that and the hooks too ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png)

This will remain a secret until its time ![(:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/ninja.png) , but it does have something to do with ....... (shut up you fool or you'll give the game away ![O_o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/browraise.png) ) . ![](https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1878/44045418644_2a5b663a7a_c.jpg) Oh yes, I found the Magic Tracks too, two sets one with hollow guide horns one without ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . ![](https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1875/30893361108_6a601a6c48_c.jpg) As always ACACW, see you soon chaps ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
