Many thanks indeed Pete . Just had a rummage around my bodies drawer , found a Black Knight sprue from Dragon and added a resin head to the torso of the bloke that was on it . No idea who produced the heads, they have been hanging on the pin board for for donkeys . I shall try my best to paint him up, but don't expect anything fantastic .

Interesting method Paul and it looks good too Might be a way to paint multi colour camo on smaller subjects?

The oil paint technique is interesting, I was expecting a darker richer colour, It has that faded washed out look, I like it!

Steve, Mack, Vlad, many thanks indeed fellas . Steve I reckon you could use this on 1/72 too, I would just add small amounts of paint to a very fine brush and drag it across the model until the fading you wish for is acquired. Vlad, I used quite light oil colours for the the green, I suppose with a darker one and less blending you'd get a darker camo. Next time I shall use a matt surface for sure, I reckon that way the colour will also be darker.

I think when/if you apply any dark pin washes it will accentuate it quite a bit?

Many thanks Ian , I do like to try things out that differ from the norm now and again . Vlad I reckon you're right there, I shall definitely be adding a wash/filter and that should bring the colour back up a bit .

Very interesting way to paint camo scheme Paul. I don't know if I could get a similar result. Great!

Pete, thanks fella . Carl, appreciated Sir . Marco, much obliged indeed mucker . Okay, as I still haven't received the decals from Archer , I have started with that which I really fear . The figure . First off he was primed in Revell 09 enamel anthracite about a week ago. Today he received a first airbrushing with Vallejo 70.860 medium flesh, after about 10 minutes a second airbrushing of Vallejo 70.955 Flat flesh and 70.928 Light flesh mixed in a 50/50 ratio. More soon chaps, as always ACACW and in this case any advice at all

Nice build.
I've never messed with the oils for models. Interested to see how it finishes up.
