I had my eye on one of their U-2 kits but I think I am going to wait for the HobbyBoss TR-1/U-2R.

Thanks chaps . Ian, if that U2 is detailed as this kit, then I can say go for it. Right then I got some good bench time this evening, the forward fuselage has been joined together and a good shot of lead has been added to make sure this doesn't become a tail sitter. I also needed a little filler around the gun access doors on the port side, but this minimal and easy to deal with. I then moved onto the main fuselage part. There is some very fine flash on here and it needs removing before you add the outer jet intakes(parts P12/13), and something I would call cooling grates for the jet exhausts(?) parts P1 and 2. The bottom of the fuselage also has the lower wing attached, and before the upper wing parts go on you must also check for the extremely fine flash along the edges. Apart from that flash everything fits fine, and this design is certainly better than a two part fuselage with a seam down the middle. Front and rear clicked together .

Looking superb so far Paul. Am I right when I say it looks a bit Starfighter-ish?

Tommy, Guy, cheers muckers . Guy I guess it's the sleekness of the aircraft that reminds you of the Starfighter . Today I added the tail section and the flaps on the main wings . The outer flaps I decided to drop down, I did this because I saw them like this in a video on YouTube .
