Is there any one on here that can give some sort of tutorial on applying smoke? I've looked on You tube and it only shows using it to tint car glassing or tone down chrome bumpers I know there are members that have used it but I need a bit of guidance

Ian, I used it to create shadows on the lower sides of an aluminium fuselage. I thinned it down with much lacquer thinner. I recommend to not overdo things, less is more imo. And it has a glossy look.

Agree with Guy, it needs to be very thin and sprayed with a 0.2 or 0.3mm nozzle. Your first pass will be hardly noticeable, so you have to build it up slowly in light layers.

This one was given multiple very thin coats of Smoke Ian, in a fading way from low to high to create subtle shadows. In fact, when you can see the smoke it's already too much, less is more.

I use it on loads of things during weathering stages, i`ve also got the Vallejo Model colour brush version.......i tend to diluite a drop of paint with some water and it makes a great acrylic non smelly pin wash or even a general wash
