Hey guys, this is an image of the transparent gel freshly brushed on. It dries...100%...transparent.   It looks a bit Van Gogh as long as it's wet. |

Thanks chaps ! Tomorrow final pics as this floating egg is nearly done. The plane's on the water. I think I'll focus a bit more on the water btw. The base itself has a chipped black finish for a change.  |

You're right on the masking tape Paul, the paint came off here and there and after some swearing I decided that it didn't look that bad. I'll see what I'll do, repaint or not. |

Thanks chaps, the base is blackened again, now the paint sits nicely. I brushpainted on pure Revell black. Final pics soon.

Guy, you are exaggerating mate, you are working way too fast, a second ship in a very short time finished. You make me feel bad LOL. Looking good, really love the effects and the water is stunning. Looking forward to see the final photos!
