Coming along nicely buddy B)
The tri colour cam browns and greens over the yellow were often applied in the field by unit maintenance or even the crew, the coloured paste was thinned with water or fuel and could be sprayed or brushed on all of which would alter the tone and shade of the finish.
That’s why colour matched ‘authentic colour’ paint claims always make me smile

Thanks Steve, and on point about the paint! Apparently the mixing medium (water, gas etc.) drastically altered the shades. I ran across a pretty cool photo of a Jagdpanther getting camo'ed up with a 1/1 scale spray gun at the front.
Best wishes,
Ian

I got the primer on the Jagdpanther this morning so I am about ready to start the fun part with the Dark Yellow base coat. I also got the wheels primed so they are ready to go as well. Regards, Ian

I have to agree that the shade of Dunkelgelb is in fact very fitting, and nicely applied too . Happy retirement Ian , now get ready for the wifey attacks of "you now have time to do...."

I added the next color to the Jagdpanther and I went with Vallejo 71.042 (almost a chocolate brown) from their "Rust and Chipping Effects" set. I shot it with a #1 tip on the Paasche and it went on very well. The NATO Green will be next to finish out the camo. Best wishes, Ian
