Looks really nice Pete, I much prefer the green/black camo over the modern sand colour.
I was in the back of a Bulldog IFV this week, there’s ‘that’ smell of oil and dirt only found there!

You lucky devil! Did you get any pics? Thanks chaps, the figure is now finished. Didn't take long at all & after a chat with Brian about circa 1980's mugs I painted it an orange colour after adding a handle from lead wire. Painted as a Grenadier guardsman I think he will work really well with the 432.

He looks so chilled with his cuppa!
No pics of the Bulldog, no cameras of any kind allowed unfortunately.

Shame that Steve, I'm keen to get a glimpse of the upgraded drivers station on the latest 432 as I know they changed the steering from levers to a steering wheel assembly.

Basework now using a suitable sized picture frame I've used AK terrains concrete for the groundwork. As I've had great success with their tarmac I was keen to try this out. I applied two thin layers then evened out the top one with a ruler. The texture and colour look really good and should weather up a treat later.

Cheers guys, Ian it's dead easy to use. I've now added a couple of mud areas on the base just to break up the vast expanse of concrete & had a little test with the figure in place. He works very well leaning against the model so I'm happy! I can now start weathering the base and the model. I'm also thinking of adding a thermos flask & horror bag next to the figure to show him on his lunch break.
