Boots, cheers fella and have fun on the few days orfe . Pete, many thanks ole chap . Here's todays workings, it's about 4 hours worth of turretage . I started off with sanding all the surfacer down so that the turret sides are flush. It was then that I thought about the mantlet cover , so I took that on next . Centurion mantlet covers are very unique, they have lots of creases and folds. I knew from the start that I was not going to use the kit part , and I knew that it would be tricky to pull off making my own. So I started off making a skeleton from white profiles and then moved onto Citadels Green Stuff This was mixed and rolled out to about 0.3mm, then cut into an oblong and added to the mantlet. This didn't go all the way to the top, the top was covered with a second piece and blended into the lower part. Thanks to the skeleton, I could then gently press the Green Stuff into place and form the famous Cent mantlet cover . Once this has set I shall tidy it up a tad, and then move on with the tie downs and few other little bits. As always ACACW
