Okay chaps, due to my slacking this week, which was caused by that thing called work I haven't posted anything here. But I haven't been lazy . I have been working on the nightmare turret from Tamiya. I replaced the strange looking tie-downs with lead wire, then I added some contours to the cupola vision blocks, sourced a WWII German Scherenfernglass and added that as the main cupola sight, after that I replaced the cupola surrounding I'm still not finished with the cupola yet, there's some welds and the supports the surround to add. After that I need to to decideif this turret had a rear hatch or not. My referneces show MkIIIs with a rear hatch on the turret and others where this is not there

Cheers dear fellows . I am now getting close to calling the turret finished, well I think so . I added the bracket at the turret rear from scrap PE and a jerry can fixed with a PE tie-down from a StuG PE set . The Don 10 real came from the Conqueror turret with copper wire for the wiring, the smoke grenade dischargers came from an AFV Club Sho't Kal Dalet which doesn't need them, and the wiring for all of these is lead wire in 0.5mm gauge . More soon chaps

Chaps today I added more of the hull details, PE light guard bits and other mini stuff and wing mirrors . I found some good pics of a Cent MkIII, so after studying the turret pictures I removed the tie downs on the stowage bins. The ones I had added were just too big, so these were replaced with very thin copper wire, also the ugly straps that were molded in place have also been chopped off. More tomorrow fellas

Looking sensational. I have another ACE Centurion Mk.3-5 to build. I think I should bring it out and get it going after seeing all this tremendous work.
