Really nice looking camouflage Ian.

I got the camo finished on the Dutch Buffalo. I used Vallejo Aluminum on the undersides of the plane and it sprayed on fine. I just have a few spots to touch up on the camo and then I will work on the panel lines. I will be using a Squadron vacuform canopy posed open since Tamiya only provides a one-piece canopy. Tamiya provided canopy masks in the kit and those were a huge help because the glass on a Buffalo has lots of panes.

Glad to see this on the move again. Nice sharp lines on that camo

I made some progress on the Buffalo and got the camo and panel line worked completed. I also finished the "spinning prop" since the plane will be depicted on flight. The Dutch pilot came from the spares box and he was painted with Vallejo paints and given various oil washes. The model will be displayed over a map of the Java battle area and this came from an atlas and I placed it on an old trophy plaque from years ago. I bent a piece of Plastic-struct to place the plane on and I will paint this latter. I am using Squadron vacu-form canopies which are really nice and a vast improvement over the kit one-piece canopy.
