Thanks chaps, I've spent the last couple of days sorting out the milan & mount for the turret. Using what limited pictures I had and some lateral thinking I've come up with my best guess as to how it was fixed to the turret. Of course none of the pictures I've found actually show the mount straight on but I think it's a feasible solution. Bras tube was used for the actual mounting pole and this is adjustable so I can tweak the height later on. The milan is from accurate armour and needs a LOT of work to get it looking half decent. I had to make a new round tube as the resin ones are bloody awful suffering from some nasty mold alignment issues. Aluminum tube and some plastic card worked a treat though.

I'm now going to work on stowage and add as much as I can before painting, especially in the side bin as it will be covered with a tarp.

Cheers chaps, I've just rebuilt the milan mount after a new picture came my way via facebook. Definitely shows a bracket attached to the sight armoured cover and not how I had the mount. So out came the plastic card and a new one was knocked up. Happy now I finally know for certain how this was fixed to the turret.

Ta chaps, today I've started on stowage and have been having great fun looking at refs and working out what to put & where. I'm going to make a long rack as well for one side but of course I have no L beam! So another order has gone in for this. I'd also like to add a couple of Milan storage boxes from accurate armour but need to check if they are still operating at the moment.

Thanks guys, more on the stowage with a bit of duro green putty & magic sculpt used to add some details and lead sheet for the long hull bin cover. Seems a pity to cover up that lovely RB gun barrel but they did use the covers big time in the gulf for obvious reasons. A bit more to sort but again I'm waiting for stuff to arrive so I may start looking at figures for it.
