Boots I always use this simple range of oils and with these I can make all the colours and shades I want.
Zinc white, yellow ocre, flesh ocre, burnt sienna, burnt umber, carmine red, ultramarine and Prussian blue, lamp black and Emerald green.
Once you know what they do when you use them combined it's a piece of cake really it has zero to do with talent.

I'll try to make an sbs on my way of 1/35 scale figure painting with enamels as a primer and oils as a finishing medium. Now let me look for those buckets you were speaking of.

There's still a handful of things to do but as I'm approaching the finish line I'm getting impatient and that's why I played around with a teaser picture... I know I'm bad Next Monday evening it will be done, finally...

Thank you Bootsbro! I'll be glad to finally remember Carl with this second diorama. He deserves all the effort and I had to think of his tremendous builds while I was working on these remembrance projects.

Guy are those only for the acrylics, or do you use them with oils and enamels?

Paul, I use them for enamels and oils, and I clean them with soap for the dishes. I use the very tip to pick up the paint with, I avoid to collect a lot of paint in the hairs.
