Boots, Si, Duke---thanks so much guys! Duke, I was cussing up a storm at about 1am getting those tanks mounted up. Skinny wing, skinny pylon and heavy drop tank is a bad combination.

Well, the Italian F-104S is finished. After the decals were applied, I gave it a flat coat of Vallejo Matte Varnish and then installed the canopy glass. I also added the myriad of formation lights and beacon lights on the tanks and fuselage using the Tamyia Clear colors series. The plane depicted is an F-104S from 18th Gruppo/37 Stormo who flew the -104 well into the 90's and also undertook back-up QRA missions in the Kosovo War. I threw in a couple of photos of it's shelf-mate, an Italeri 1/48th scale IDS Tornado in Italian markings from Desert Storm. All in all, the Hasegawa kit is very nice and the CMK underwent tanks are a very nice accessory for the kit as well.
