Cockpit detail work really looks great and glad to see the fuselage together and wings on. Staying tuned.......

Construction complete next up primer. Unfotunately there will be a slight delay on the primer application as we are off to Corby today to assist my son, who is moving to Cambridge. More over the Bank Holiday weekend I guess. Tim

Done it again, lost a post. I blame age for this. A bit like when you are caught "flying low" Primer on, sooner than I thought, but gives me a chance to get on with the colour over the weekend, visitors permitting. More soon. Tim

Lovely Tim, the details are showing through beautifully and will look good under colour and panel line wash

Lovely Tim, the details are showing through beautifully and will look good under colour and panel line wash I hope so Paul.
Been out and bought some "gouache" to see if I can replicate Porco's efforts on his "Spit"

Coming along very nicely Tim. Try the gouache on a test piece first to see if you like it. I love it, but a mate of mine didn't get on with it. It works best on a gloss surface. Good luck

Marco, Paul & Steve, Thanks for the comments, I am rather chuffed with how the primer went down. Joe, I do have one finished build to experiment on. I just hope that I get the hang of it quickly otherwise it will be straight in at the deep end! Underside and spinner now sky blue.
Once again very pleased with how this has gone down. More soon. Tim

The underneath looks rather nice.
The gouache can be used straight from the tube, or thinned with water. I have in the past sprayed with it. I'm sure you'll do just great with it.
