Last bit for today. Dark Earth on and again I am so happy with the finish. I just hope this continues to the end. In spray terms only the green to go, so need to be patient let it cure and go again tomorrow. More soon.Tim

Another day with the "AB" and we have greenage. Masking is one great PITA but reasonably happy with the outcome. Now to perfect panel lines etc, so after a period to cure "Klear" coat comming. Tim

Decalage started, and a little "gouache" application. Think I might be a little light, will try a tad less watering down and sharpen it a bit. Back to work tomorrow so more as and when. Tim

Stickerage looks good Tim As you have said about the Gouche, maybe a little thicker would be better

Beautiful so far.
I have to ask what is this "Gouache" you are using and how it is used? Can it be gotten in the Colonies?

Beautiful so far. I have to ask what is this "Gouache" you are using and how it is used? Can it be gotten in the Colonies? Hope it is available in the "colonies". It is Windsor & Newton Designers Gouache, and is, in simplistic terms, a cross between acrylic and watercolour paint.
It can be thinned with water and used as a wash application with the excess wiped off with a damp cloth. See Joe's "Stalled Spitfire Wing" for additional information and pictures.
