Love it . Might be slow, but it is an extremly good process and far better than oils or that scary stuff Flory

Standng on her own two wheels now, soon be ready to leave the bench. Will get some shots of the underside etc to show off the detail popping effects of the gouache. Tim

More bits added.
Bit of advice needed. Just in front of the cockpit each side are lights, are these coloured red on one side green tother. Or are they clear? Tim

Better ask Ceebee about that, I didn't even know there were lights in position.

I think it is time to call this finished. Replacement canopy has been ordered and, apart from the rear view mirror, will be the last parts fitted. Everything else is done and it all looks like this. When the canopy arrives I will arrange some final shots, but for now off to the cabinet. Next up the Tornado GR1 and some paint mixing! Tim

Glad you like and thanks for the comments. I have a reference picture of this very aircraft on the ground at RAF Tangmere in 1941, which I hope to emulate once the replacement canopy arrives. In the meantime, a little experiment in B&W for your delectation. Tim

Many thanks for the comments one and all, glad you like.
My thanks now to Revell. Replacement canopy has arrived and no charge, much appreciated. Will now be able to bring this over the line.
