Looking good. Ditto what Marco said about the tracks. That’s the way I do it too.
I use Tamiya extra thin cement, on a flat surface glue a few pieces together. Leave to dry for a few minutes while you do the other track side
Lift up and place on the sprocket or return roller. Mould into shape and wait. The longer you wait the better. After a while check you haven’t cocked up and glued them on by mistake.
The next day add a few more pieces to the completed length.
I usually do one track in 2 halves, that way it’s easier to fit on once painted and weathered.
Hope this makes sense.

I’ve never tried this method of wheel and track assembly until I recently built the new Tamiya Marder I. Having no choice but to assemble this way I found it a lot easier than I thought.
Best tip I could give is use a slow drying cement. It gives you plenty of wiggle room time to achieve a good alignment

I think it’s time to move this one on a bit! Thanks for all the comments and suggestions fellas. I went for a link and length type solution and made up part lengths let them set, primed with black then built them up on the tank. Doesn’t look too bad for my second 1/35 AFV in 3 years Also moved onto paint so base coat of Tamiya TS-3 yellow then built up the colours and camo. I’ve tried for the look of a Tiger from August 44 that has thinly applied camo. Still lots to do such as flat coat over the freshly added decals but here’s when she is ACWAE

Love it, Steve. Camo looks great and no mistaking the sinister look of a Tiger I.

Evening all, Tiger update Dark brown wash, multicoloured oil streaks and some pigments, all lost under some textured weathering Airbrushed Tamiya Buff and Dark Iron on lower hull and running gear. Some final pigments and a flat coat and I’ll be ready for a figure and a base
