Almost 12 months ago I put this on the shelf so I think it's time to push it over the line. That said I don't like the tracks so have sent for these .. oh my! Pics at some point when work allows :`

Evening all and thanks for stopping by Tamiya indie tracks removed without too much trouble after soaking in warm soapy water to loosen the super glue. I resprayed the running gear as the water also took off some paint and weathering. I want this to look dusty and the paintwork damaged/Faded so removed the tank number from the rear stowage bin with Sellotape and replaced it with the ABT 506 insignia as seen just before the unit was withdrawn from the Eastern front for re-equipping with Tiger II's and being deployed to the Western front. Also started work on the pinwashes and dry brushing of the camo colours to highlight areas where the wear and tear would keep dust at bay. Here's a pic or two.. the light is very bright so the photos are a bit washed out
Hope you like

Help! The AFV club indy tracks are driving me mad, each one needs a good clean up and then liquid cement won't work and gel holds until you move the tracks.. Anyone know where I can find some mid or late metal AM ones? I can find early but not the ones I need. Thanks mateys'

Steve, I don't where you can get anything in the UK at the moment, but try and find some of these: www.solidscale.de/t-rex-studio/t-rex-1-35-tracks/I have two sets, Panzer 2 and 4, they go together really good and seem to hold good also. I did a report somewhere on here, but can't remember where .

Thanks Paul I did look at buying them from the vendor on the link but they're not UK HMRC registered so I'd have to pay VAT on the tracks and postage plus a handling charge and another delivery charge to Royal Mail, so about £50 in all I think I'd put this back in the shelf until either Frugies or Master are back in stock here , after all it's only been two years building so far

Seems to be a distinct lack of late tiger tracks here in the UK! Just been trying my usual sources and can find none which is weird!

Thanks Pete, odd isn’t it. I found some transport tracks but they’re not what I want for this one

Looking the bizz Steve, the tracks can wait. So much more fun is waiting for you in your stash until the tracks are yours.
