Well the stable mate for the Hunter has arrived and an interesting kit it is. Box and sprue shots, and the Eduard interior set,
Also purchased a resin Martin-Baker Mk 2B bang seat as I am undecided about the kit one. Mind you the Eduard set has some nice bling for the kit seat so will decide when the resin one arrives.

Looks like a very cool aircraft is going take shape here . I somehow think the black and yellow markings will added to the spares box

Would look silly with the decals alongside the Hunter. I know they didn't go to well to start with on the Hunter, but I did manage to rescue the day somehow.

Ian,
Welcome. Will not be going to quickly on this just yet as it is "Tax Return" season. Still got a couple to go so this will be more a case of as and when to start with.

I built the Classic Airframes offering years ago and these build up into an impressive looking prop. They kill the shelf space, though.

As the title suggests, started on the office. Main IP done, 5 pieces of etch to this and mutch fiddling as it is rather on the small side against my sausage fingers. Might drop some gloss varnish in the dials to hint at glass. I am going to do my best to use the whole of the etch. I know most will not be seen again, but will have photos to look at before it is all closed in. Tim

Tim, the consoles look great. Looks like I could hop in it and start flipping switches.

Thanks for the comments chaps, much appreciated. Not sure why we put ourselves through this, but these are the main parts of the cockpit instrumentation. IP and side consoles, still a way to go but getting there. Tim
