Thanks Paul, took some doing but hope the end result will be worth it. As title suggests I have started to pull all the parts together. Make the most of what you see, as when closed up not a lot to be seen. More soon. Tim

It is a shame that so much disappears when the fuselage comes together. But you can still a good amount on this one . Looking good Tim

Paul, Ian, Pete & Beano, Thanks for looking in and the comments. Getting ever closer to the moment when I can close up the fuselage. Decided to do a dry run and decide the case for open or closed canopy. Closed
  Open
No brainer really...... open it is. Fan bits at the front and the contra rotating blades do work after a little tlc More as and when. Tim

Great work Tim! Let the canopy open, the office deserves it.

Certainly an open canopy Tim . I think I might have to get one of these, but in 1/72 to save space

Certainly an open canopy Tim . I think I might have to get one of these, but in 1/72 to save space I am fairly sure "Trumpy" do one in 1\72

Tim, open canopy is the way to go, especially with your work in the front office. The model looks great and the prop assembly looks impressive as well.

Office work and etch bending all done. 50 odd bits of etch to bend and curse and I have to confess, 1 part has gone awol. But as it is a flap type handle deep inside the tub alongside the bang seat no one will notice. A rather heavy picture update follows. Bang Seat - I used the kit one in the end as the resin replacement was a tad on the large size and didn't work with all the etch. Etch to the cockpit side walls.
Tub. Top of the IP. Pulled together.
In the fuselage.
I also extended the runner for the internal canopy bulkhead\brace which allows me to pose the canopy open. Soon be time to join the fuselage and get cracking on the rest of the build. Tim

The kit bang seat looks bloody good as it is Tim Agree Paul, but it required the aftermarket etch rather than the kit supplied etch, five unpainted belts. Resin seat and kit seat side by side. Would have been a tight fit for the replacement. Tim
