Still working on the Merkava,
this handle is so thin and fragile that when you try to cut it from the sprue with a blade...

This happens..
I will try to replace it with thin wire.
There are other parts on the sprues that are similar, I imagine this might happen later on.
Moving along,

The detail on the hull is very good,

Try giving those small bits a coat of Tamiya Extra thin when still on the sprue John. Then cut them off before it completely dry, like dry to touch, only takes a few seconds. This takes the surface tension off and they won't break when cutting. It works bloody well on Miniart kits, so it should work here too.

I will try on the other parts, since both B3 parts are broke.
But that C26 on Step 5 is a good choice.

Had the same issues with the Bergepanzer.......if i do manage to get stuff like that off in one piece i end breaking it cleaning it up Great work John and an easy fix at least........and will probably look better

How many times have I had that problem! I used to glue one bit on, leave to dry and then glue the next bit on, then use copious amounts of tamiya extra thin to seal the join. And if worst comes to the worst you can always cover it up with some mud.
I will give Paul's suggestion a go next time.

Sometimes I will just make new parts using wire or lead wire for small simple shapes such as that. Much easier than trying to get them off the sprue and cleaning them up as well.

Making some nice progress there. Small thin parts are a real pain when they breakup like that , I found ICM’s plastic to be the worst for this

The work looks great John! About the thin pieces, I use to use a very fine saw to cut them from sprues.

There is certainly some nice detail on the John Even those small caps have some label ( my guess is Oil or Fuel in hebrew... )

Thanks Fellas !! I wonder if this was another brand... those rivets and the lettering would be on a PE sheet I'll let choose which brand..
