I could wish for snow but the suns shining here! So far I’ve dug out a ton of clay to form a flat space only to then carry in 8 sleepers for edging and refill said flat space with two tons of gravel to make a ‘sitting area’  PLEASE let it rain tomorrow! |

Everything was blooming nicely here. Fruit trees, daffodils, azaleas----and here comes mother nature with a 26 *F cold snap and killed all of it.🤣

Built this as a kid.. because my brother was in the navy and served on the only Dutch carrier HMS Karel Doorman.. loved this model, can't wait to see it!

Welcome aboard fellas and thanks for the great comments  Not started this yet but I’ve bought some masks for the glass as there’s a lot of framing! I’ve had the decals for a while and will use a combination of these and the kit’s to make the aircraft I want in yellow. After all how often do you get to do a yellow whirlybird !  I’ll make a start when I can |
