Well done Ian, your build is coming along nicely. I drilled the holes in the lower wing. I measured the location pin size of the parts to be fitted so I would have a nice snug fit when gluing them in place when the time comes. I did check twice when I saw that there were two holes to be drilled on the top sections of the wings. These were for a small fairing, which are now glued in place. Also glued in place, are four sections for each undercarriage bay that give extra detail.

Ian, you've been busy my friend. Painting the details on the sprue is a good idea that most of us forget to use. Great info on the exhaust too. PR, very clean build fella. Some good tips too. I'll be sure to use them when I get around to one of these

Thanks, Steve and Joe! The fit on the wing section appears to be great as well with no gaps at the fuselage.

Thank you chaps. I started priming some of the bits and pieces I've assembled, and a few bits still attached to the sprue. I thought I'd use the primer in the airbrush up rather than waste it. I had to stop no sooner I started, because my puppy thought he would chew the airline. 🤨

Here we go, this is where Joe starts the modular action . Puppy chewing the air line, I thought only cats did that, specially mine

Cheers Paul and Ian. Muchly appreciated.
With Toby getting his head down before Boot Camp tonight, I had the chance to get a little more done. I sprayed the white undercarriage bay sections, some aluminum sections, and the internal green areas of the exhaust. Ian, I'm sure your correct about how quickly they get stained But after paying out £2.50p for some paint, I was determined to use it.😁
I intend to paint the lower section of the wing white before gluing it to the top section so I don't have to mask the undercarriage bays.

The details look good under paint , are you going to do any weathering?

Thank you gentlemen. Steve, the only weathering I normally do is when the wash I use for the panel lines stains the paint. I primed a few more parts today, including the fuselage halves. With a panel covering the spine along the top, and the lower wing section, there is very little in the way of joining seams. That means I could paint the fuselage halves fully with grey and white with the minimum of paint touching up required. That way, I should also get away without having to mask the cockpit. I won't paint the exhaust areas on the rear of the fuselage until after the two halves have been glued together.
