I have had my eye on this kit since Christmas and I decided to jump in the deep end and give it a go. This is the Takom Lun-6 Ekraonplan "Carrier Hunter" and I must say this is really a beautifully produced model on the part of Takom. The panel lines are really gorgeous and the fit of the parts is excellent. After doing a little research, I found out the International Maritime Organization classifies these as ships so I have plopped down here in the Maritime Threads. I started with the cockpit, er.....um...bridge, whatever you call it and I found some great color photos of this area on the internet. The cockpit walls are almost an Interior Green color with a quilted sound-proof covering. I went ahead and used Interior Green for that and then drew on the quilt pattern with a .005 Micron Ink Pen. The flight deck appeared to be tan with leather seat coverings on the seats and the instrument panel is the legendary MIG turquoise cockpit color. 
I then got the flight deck installed and the fuselage, er...um....hull pieces, glued together. No fit problems at all but she is a beast with a hull length of almost 22 inches. Takom also provides some cool hypothetical schemes; one for the Northern Fleet out of Polyarny and another for the Pacific Fleet for the Battle of the Kure Islands. Lots of possibilities here.
