Thanks, gents! Yes, these Eduard accessories are very pleasing to the eye. I started work on the true heart beat of the radial FW-190s; the mighty BMW 801 radial. Revell devotes almost an entire sprue to the engine assembly so I figured I would make the most of it. I got the cylinders painted with Vallejo Aluminum and then hit them with a very thick wash of Acryl Black and Pledge Floor Care.   |

I think Vallejo Aluminium and Steel are a couple of the best paints out there.........sprays superbly and i also use it for small area`s with a hairy stick  |

Thanks, guys! Guy, the crankcase is actually USN Intermediate Blue with a heavy Raw Humber/Mineral Spirits wash. For the actual cylinders, I tried something different; an extremely pale wash of Cobalt Blue and Sky Blue diluted with lots of Mineral Spirits. It gave the cylinders a very subtle "Blue Steel" look.
