LOL......cheers Steve Ian......thanks fella , i got more chance of winning the lottery than getting it beyond the man cave...let alone the lounge coffee table!!
Ok quick update.......
A bit more camo done on the rear decl......this was done using masking tape templates where poss and free-hand AB , the wheels and tyres on both tractor and trailer have been fiddled with but just WIP at the mo.......not much more needed on them IMHO , both the cab steps are now coloured in after their little bit of alteration. Just got the rear fenders to finish off and i can start on the trailer camo.......`er......or Gepard
Ok...more soon.....until then
Cheers chaps

What can I say besides "JAWDROPPING STUFF". Once finished and on a display it will look so real. The camouflage fits the model so well. And that windshield...my o my !

Ok chaps...........build and paint finished on the tractor, i`ll put this to one side now and start the trailer camo, once that is done everything will get a gloss coat prior to some light weathering and then a final matt coat...........then i will make a start on the Gepard A1/A2 So far....... Amber warning lights, indicators, side reflectors, rear lights, rear reflectors, mirrors, winch cables and tyres have all been done this past few days............the amber flashing lights were given a light silver wash (not painted) and then 3 layers of Tamiya Clear Orange brush painted on and then glossed, the mirrors were done using some very finely cut strips of chrome tape......these will get a bit of weathering a bit later , the hydraulic fill points on the tank were picked out in Red as required by H&S
Slow progress as i`m busy with work.........even worked my day off as the firm is so short of drivers and this is the busiest time of year with all the extra music festivals, car festivals etc ..........gonna be like that for the next couple of months i reckon
Anyway more soon as
Thanks chaps.
