Well maybe I am glutton for punishment for trying another HobbyBoss kit but I figured I would give this a try. My son gave me this for Christmas and it actually looks like a really nice kit so here we go. The kit has nice recessed panel lines and looks to be nicely detailed. My plan is an out-of-box build in French Army markings. Best wishes! Ian

I agree, Steve! Certainly looks nicer than the HB F-111 kit.๐๐
Best wishes,

Are you feeling alright Ian ? An OOB build from you is a very rare occurrence , but I shall gladly tag along to see what really happens here

Thanks, gents!!
LOL, Paul!!! I had a realization that maybe I should just quit torturing myself and just build and paint something.๐๐
Best wishes,

Well, giving credit where credit is due this HobbyBoss Tiger really is a beautiful helo kit. However, 72 scale makes me realize my eyesight is not what it used to be. I worked on the cockpit and got it assembled and the fit was very good. The instructions called out the wrong interior color, however, as photos indicated the front office and seats are black not "blue-grey" as HB says. Anyway, an enjoyable helo so far. Best wishes, Ian

I got the Tiger closed up and I must say this is really a nice kit. The panel lines are beautifully molded and no fit problems thus far. I will have just a little bit of seam work to do and then it will be ready for primer. The stub wings are actually one piece which is nice and I will probably leave the horizontal stabs off until painting. Stay tuned. Regards, Ian

I applied the primer to the Tiger fuselage and some of the sub-assemblies. The panel lines and rivet detail on the kit are really nice and no fit issues have been encountered. There are a few spots I have to tidy up and then it will be ready for some French tri-color camo. Best wishes, Ian
