Morning / Evening A few more pics from yesterdays session. Work on the cruciform continued with the fixing of the two mobile arms and the circular mounting point. Quite a bit of clean up, but it all slotted together nicely.    Next up I did some surgery on the gun barrel parts to remove the block from the end. After a bit of clean up the metal barrel fitted like a glove...phew.  The gun body assemblies didn't disappoint, with lots of flash, lines and pin marks in the most annoying of places. Still with some tunes playing in the background it was completed. Here's the assemblies completed so far.  It's nice to actually have a kit that comes together quickly after a previous long build. Evening / Morning all Another decent day of modelling completed. Mind you I have to say I'm completely over ejector pin marks and mould lines, it's all i seemed to do......... file, sand repeat! On top of that was some PE and some very small fiddly ones at that. By the end of the day I managed to complete the first bogie (bar some final finishing off). At least the second one should be easier now i know what i'm doing (yeah right!). So here's the pics of the session.        Cheers Mark |
