Good to see her ready for paint mate. And one thing I hate (modelwise) about Merkava's are those darn Ball and Chains...did a Merk IV once and it wasn't the most fun assembly Good thing the Merkava I doesn't have them ey LOL Cheers

A few balls and chains? There were plenty I have evolved, at that time I didn't do THAT much etch LOL Still, left me traumatised for life Worst thing is: couple of years later I won ANOTHER Merkava IV in a contest which sits in the stash Cheers

Many thanks fellas , like Pete said earlier due to the good and plenty of beers in the garden , this has come to slow down over the last 2 days. She is however now drying off in the cellar, the Israeli Sand 1981 from Mr. Color has been applied but it stinks . It isn't as advertised acrylic, but Lacquer paint which does have a strong smell to it . Ian the tracks are being painted in situ , my fault as I glued the return roller in place and couldn't get the track back over it . Wouts, I know what you mean with those balls and chain dude , this is the only version that can get away without the ball and chain and also without the anti-slip. All others Merkava that came after 1982 (Lebanon) had the the stuff added . Hopefully if the weather ain't too good, tomorrow should get a decent update for yaz

Ian many thanks me ole mucker . Well the sun is shining, we've 24°C already so we're going to the allotment (Garden) again. This will naturally disturb the process here, but before I go here's yesterdays colouring for you . I managed to keep the pre-shade this time round , still I might go over it again using Ian's secret Tammy smoke effect
