Carl, many questions many answers  . The wash is oil paint, raw umber (at least 20 years old ) with some lamp black (about 5 years old) and thinned with Zippo lighter fuel . The VMS matt is now in place, pics coming up. The chipping I added with Model Master enamel rubber no. 1583, which getting very rare to find now  . Anyways here's the pics for you all . Hull matted and shiny turret to show the difference, the VMS matt is sprayed neat ( sorry for not getting back earlier Boots)  Chipping has been kept to a minimum, these vehicles were rather new when they marched into Lebanon.      Next up will be some dusting and a bit of stowage in the basket |

MM enamel rubber used to be one of my favourite colours for chipping works too. The Merk looks da bomb !

Guy, that stuff is great for this job, just a shame you find it anymore . Pete, many thanks ole chap . Ian, appreciated very much sir Okay got the tow ropes and stowage on, paint the MG's and then dusted the whole thing lightly with Mig Dust .   Gonna sort out some antenna now . |
