Wouts very much appreciated sir . My pre-shades usually disappear when slap the paint on, but this time I restrained myself and I'm pleased with it too . Pete I used Mr Color TC19, IDF Gray 1981 Sinai. This is a lacquer paint which I wasn't expecting as the set was/is advertised as Acrylic on the web site I bought it from. As I had no lacquer thinner I had to revoke to using Revell Paint cleaner to thin it, and it worked . Carl, many thanks to thee to ole chap . Okay fellas after a day down the garden, with lots of beer, sausages and sun , I managed to get a highlighting on the beast and the running gear done too . We might notice a slight tremor in the Space-time Continuum as I used Dunkelgelb shine and IDF sand 1973 to make the lighter tone I needed . Here's where I am at now fellas . More soon dudes , I'm gonna another beer now

Pete, many thanks sire and no prob for the info . Carl, I thought the tremor would be a good un . Cheers mushty Ian, appreciated fella . The tracks need a little more yet, just working out how to get at them best . Boots, if you approve then all is well mucker . Marco, it's always a pleasure to please you sir . Okay lads here's todays doings. I have absolutely no proof that the heavy lifting eyes of the Merk were painted red , but I do know that this was practiced on Israeli vehicles. So I have taken a bit of artistic free licence and added red to them anyway , also the the towing shackles and spare tracks have been picked out in black, when exactly they started doing this I know not either . But it does add a good colour break up to the vehicle . The vision blocks I picked out in Revell Aqua transparent blue . More soon sires

Pete, don't worry it won't be Tammy Buff either . Boots, no mucker, this is Revell Aqua gloss . The only stuff from VMS I have is their matt coat , and it will be used shortly . The Matt varnish from VMS is the closest thing to Testors Mattcote I have seen
